Banya No.1 has 3 locations: 2 in London and 1 in Tbilisi.
Banya No. 1 – Chiswick was established in 2020 and is the second branch of the brand in London.
We have created a space with a clean interior that resembles the crystal waters of Karelia, and have gathered moss from the forests to evoke the atmosphere of the northern nature.
The banya is a place of rejuvenation, where you can leave behind your fatigue and recharge your body and mind.
You are always welcome to visit on your own, but banya is best experienced as a shared time with family and friends.
First, you will have a time in the steam rooms, warming your body and starting the detox process. Next, this will be following by one or several treatments – Parenie, massages or other body treatments are all available. Finally – and equally important – you will end your visit spending time relaxing in our lounge area with food and drinks.

We have combined the philosophy and practices of Nordic wellness, based on the thermal cycle of Hot-Cold-Rest-Repeat, with authentic wellness treatments to create a unique and invigorating spa experience that makes you feel alive.
The Parenie ritual
Our signature treatment Parenie is an invigorating thermal ritual performed in superheated steam, using leafy and fragrant oak, birch, and eucalyptus branches. Followed by an icy-cold plunge, it causes the release of adrenaline, stress hormones and immense invigoration soon follows. It boosts blood circulation, improves the immune system and helps to relieve muscle tension and stress.
Rest and relaxation
Our guests have their own private booths in the lounge where they can rest between steaming and treatments and enjoy Russian delicacies and traditional drinks.
Food and drinks
Healthy, homely and comforting food as well as our unique drinks help to maintain hydration and electrolyte balance during the experience.
